DC Federal Litigation

Privacy Policy

Effective 15 October 2026

1. Who this covers

This policy describes how DC Federal Litigation handles information collected through this website. It does not replace the confidentiality the Firm owes a client, which is governed by the District of Columbia Rules of Professional Conduct and is broader than this policy.

2. What we collect

What you send us — your name, email address, and whatever you choose to describe when you make contact. Standard server and analytics data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed and referring page.

3. Why we hold it

To answer your enquiry, to run a conflicts check before any engagement, to operate and secure the site, and to meet legal and professional obligations.

4. Who we share it with

Service providers who host the site, deliver our email, or process payments, each only as needed to perform that function. Otherwise we do not sell, rent or trade it. We disclose information where the law or a court requires it.

5. How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become matters are kept only as long as needed, then deleted. Client files are retained under the Firm’s file-retention practice and applicable professional obligations.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, which is why section 3 of the Terms of Use asks you not to send confidential material through this site.

7. Your choices

Write to info@dcfederallitigation.com to ask what we hold, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it. Some information must be retained where a legal or professional obligation requires it.

8. Children

This site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

9. Changes

We may update this policy; the version in force is the one published here.
